Joe Armstrong Joe Armstrong started with IBM in 1989 working as a software engineer on Token Ring, SLIC development and tape fast attach. His last development project was lead architect for the POWER 6 high end FSP design, part of which was done while on assignment in Boeblingen, Germany. Joe has been a Power Client Technical Specialist since 2007, and currently covers the Industrial Market segment for the US. On the side, Joe runs the Power Systems Virtual User Group.
